So I was on the train a few evenings ago as usual I was playing solitaire then stopped to play bubble breaker, awsome game game by the way. The train was emptying out and only a few passengers were left in my car. I noticed there was a guy correcting papers, so I suppose he was a teacher. When he was done grading his papers he pulled out a different type of paper, rolling paper. This guy rolled a joint right in front of me, I was blown away.
I have nothing against people that smoke up, most of my friends have been known to do it here and there. I see nothing wrong with it,to each his own. I just hope that smoking isn't affecting the way he educates his students. We already have a horrible education system and I would hate to think that his students are suffering just because their teacher wants to toke up.

That is so strange he would do it publicly in the train. I've heard that sometimes it helps certain people focus better maybe it helps him teach better who knows, but yeah i agree with you hopefully its not effecting his students.
ReplyDeletei agree with G. it is so weird that he would do that on the train. but i guess he figured the people wouldn't care or notice? he didn't smoke it on the train too right? bc that would suck. especially for the people around him. unless they enjoy it of course.
ReplyDeleteWhat are you guys talking about? I saw two dudes light it up in front of cops in my area..Cops came by, turned on their siren for 2 sec., and passed by..lol
ReplyDeleteHe didn't smoke it in the train, and there weren't many people left in the car either...... he just rolled it...... unless you know the smell anyone could mistake it for a cigarette. I have seen worse done on the train .....
ReplyDeleteWow, that is beyond me, do roll up in public I mean. But @ nick, I wanna bet if that happened in my neck of the woods faces would have been slammed to the pavement

ReplyDeletelol. gotta love new york. people have no sense of shame here. i'm sure you guys have seen it all as well but i've seen someone: cut their fingernails/toenails, pick up a john (yeah as in prostitution), get to 3rd base, pick their noses, eat a full course meal, do makeup hair, lapdance (given to me, ha!) breakdancing, everything...
ReplyDeletegotta love New York!!!
ReplyDeleteI had assumed that most professors in their early 30s do (I've seen too much of them at Stuy and Bing actually smoking and drinking with students).
ReplyDelete@Bibliofemme: Lapdance? I hope it wasn't a stranger.
